With these elements in place, we are able to cultivate a learning environment where frequent interactions between teachers and students become the norm of the class, individual attention by the teacher is a standard practice, and increased confidence and academic excellence are the guaranteed results.
Course Offerings
Our course offerings are tailored to students ranging from 3rd through 12th grade. Courses include elementary mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, PSAT, SAT, SAT-II, Writing Workshops, Test Preparation, and GT Humanities 6, 7 & 8. All Enrichment classes are offered during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Track Record
Since 1998, more than 25,000 students have benefited from our programs. Our students have made outstanding achievements such as receiving top scores on Magnet school battery tests, Johns Hopkins CTY qualification tests, PSAT, SAT, and AP tests. In 2015, APLUS Education students made an unprecedented achievement in our history: 295 students were accepted (including those on the waitlist) to Montgomery Blair Magnet Program, Richard Montgomery International Baccalaureate Program, Thomas Jefferson Science Magnet High School, and various MCPS middle school Magnet Programs. The combined passing ratio was about 65%. Since then, students have continued to experience breakthroughs in their academic journeys!
